Flenarnas fäbod
Flenarnas fäbod is one of the farms or pastures known locally as “fäbodar”. A fäbod was used intermittently to keep livestock and were inhabited only during summer.
In the farm was declared a listed building, including an area of land around the site. The idea was that the management of the forest and land within the protected area would be in accordance with the intentions of the declaration.The County Administrative Board of Dalarna is the supervisory authority and is responsible for ensuring that the provisions of the declaration of listed status are complied with. The association Södra Flenarnas fäbodlag has the stated aim of maintaining a continuous and beneficial dialogue with the relevant officials at the County Administrative Board.
The aim of the declaration of listed status was to “freeze the image of what the fäbod looked like when it ceased to be run”. This means that nothing may be changed externally. Inside, any adaptations are to be made with as little intervention as possible. It is important not to interfere with the original function of the houses.

Solleröns socken
Sollerö socken ligger i Dalarna, ingår sedan i Mora kommun och motsvarar från Solleröns distrikt.
Socknens areal är ,50 kvadratkilometer, varav ,80 land.[1] År fanns här 1 invånare.[2] Tätorten Gesunda samt tätorten och kyrkbyn Sollerön med sockenkyrkan Sollerö kyrka ligger i socknen.
Administrativ historik
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Solleröns församling bildades före genom en utbrytning ur Mora församling. Mellan 8 mars och 26 oktober var socknens namn Sofia Magdalena socken. Socknen blev egen jordebokssocken i anslutning till namnbytet den 26 oktober
Vid kommunreformen övergick socknens ansvar för de kyrkliga frågorna till Solleröns församling och för de borgerliga frågorna till Solleröns landskommun. Landskommunen uppgick i Mora kommun.[3] Församlingen uppgick i Mora församling.
1 januari inrättades distriktet Sollerön, med samma omfattning som församlingen hade /
Socknen har tillhört fögderier, tingslag och domsagor enligt vad som beskrivs i artikeln Dalarna. De indelta soldaterna tillhörde Dalregementet och Mora kompani.[4]

[edit]The island is home to several notable archaeological and historical sites, including Dalarna's largest Viking-era grave fields, a historic church, restored 18thth century farmhouses, the Viking museum has now closed.[3][4]
Viking Graves
[edit]In the northern part of Sollerön, there are two large grave fields from the end of the Viking Age: one major at Bengtsarvet-Häradsarvet-Rothagen and one smaller at Utanmyra. Large Viking age graves have also been funnen elsewhere in Dalarna, such as in Orsa and on Tunaslätten, but the Sollerön grave site fryst vatten the largest known site of its kind in Dalarna. tillsammans, the grave sites contain up to as many as graves. Eighteen of the graves have been excavated, 11 of which have been investigated.[4]
