Norwegian units of measurement
As in the case of the Danes, the Norwegians' earliest standards of measure can be derived from their ship burials. The Norwegian-feet-long Kvalsund ship (m; ft) was built ca. AD and differs from the Danish boats less than it does from the Oseberg, Gokstad and Tune ships which all date from ca. AD. Thwarts are typically spaced about 3 Norwegian feet (m; ft) apart.[1]

Subsequently, the alen was defined by law as 2 Rhine feet from From , the basic unit was defined as a fot being derived from astronomy as the length of a one-second pendulum times 12/38 at a latitude of 45°. Places one barn in front of each player.
Places all 12 animals in the Animal Grab Bag.
Passes the Animal Grab Bag from player to player until each player, without looking in the bag, has taken one animal. Each player's animal should be displayed on the table near that player's barn.
Shuffles the animal cards together with the Swap Card and deals all cards, face down, so that each player, including the dealer, has an equal number of cards. Any left-over cards will not be used in this game.

Snorta aurait pu s'appeler Farm Speed : le principe de base est celui déjà utilisé par Jungle Speed et d'autres jeux : être le premier à annoncer que deux cartes sont identiques.
Mais ici, pas de totem à attraper (ou à envoyer dans le vase de chine de belle-maman). Il s'agit d'être le plus rapide à pousser le cri d'animal de l'adversaire, et pas le sien, ce qui serait trop facile.
L'ambiance est au rendez-vous dans ce jeu. Snorta ne brille pas par l'innovation, mais fait bien rire, et c'est l'essentiel !

Un bon mécanisme suffit parfois à faire un bon jeu. Mais si on y ajoute un matériel exceptionnel, le plaisir s'accroît !
