    Nick Bostrom (BOST-rəm; Swedish: Niklas Boström[ˈnɪ̌kːlasˈbûːstrœm]; born 10 March )[3] is a philosopher known for his work on existential fara, the anthropic principle, human enhancement ethics, whole brain emulation, superintelligence risks, and the reversal test. He was the founding director of the now dissolved Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford[4] and is now Principal Researcher at the Macrostrategy Research Initiative.[5]

    Linda Boström Knausgård (born 15 October in Boo, Sweden) is a Swedish author and poet. She debuted in with the poetry collection Gör mig behaglig för såret. Her critical breakthrough came in with the short-story collection Grand Mal. Her first novel, Helioskatastrofen, was released in [1][2]

Her disorder was the subject of a radio documentary, titled Jag skulle kunna vara USA:s president, which she produced for Sveriges Radio in [1] In , her third book, the novel Helioskatastrofen, was released. In January she began writing chronicles for the regional newspaper Ystads Allehanda.[3]

    Christopher Jacob Boström var son till skeppstimmermannen Christopher Boström (–) och Elisabet Hortling (–). Han var farbror till statsministerErik Gustaf Boström. Modern härstammade från den så kallade Bureätten. Denna släkt Boström är en gren av släkten Laestadius.

    Boström blev vid nio års ålder fosterson till en morbror, skeppsbyggmästaren Erik Nordlund. Efter att ha genomgått Härnösands gymnasium, där lektorn N.M. Berlin väckte hans intresse för filosofi, tog han studentexamen i Uppsala, där Nils Fredrik Biberg och Samuel Grubbe blev hans lärare.

    Då Samuel Grubbe utnämndes till statsråd tillförordnades Boström som professor i praktisk filosofi, och han blev ordinarie innehavare av denna professur som han innehade tills han blev emeritus
